The Rumball Camp of the Deaf has always been a place of “I Can!” and has never been a place where “I Can’t” is often heard. It is a facility created for the Deaf, by the Deaf and has grown over it's past 60 years of operation! The camp is full of activities and each year we like to add something new to make the experience incredible for each child that attends camp. Kids can go tubing, water skiing, learn to ride a dirt bike and rock climb regardless of their hearing abilities. Our programming is tailored for children with any degree of hearing loss so they can understand what going on around them, and be understood. It's not just about our property and all the toys and activities, it's a place where relationships grow and children can develop a positive self-esteem and sense of identity. We have children attend camp for most of their youth, and then transition to become staff!

One of the challenges we face every day is finding the financial resources to keep going. Over the years our faithful donors have sent hundreds of children to camp . These children would not have the chance to come to camp if it were not for those people. The faithfulness of the Deaf Church community, our loyal services clubs and those concerned individuals keep smiles on the faces of children that can’t be erased. This is where you come in. We are requesting funds to help create funds to send MORE children to camp in the summer of 2015.

The memories that a child makes at camp are ones that stay with them for a lifetime. We believe this to be true...do you?
